Cocogreen’s Contribution to Wood Street Mission’s Christmas Appeal

Over the festive season, the Cocogreen team proudly rallied our support behind the Wood Street Mission’s Christmas appeal, a way of spreading holiday cheer to families in need across Manchester and Salford.

Participating in the drive reflects our commitment to fostering positive social impact project across our global footprint, ensuring we benefit local communities wherever we are.

The Wood Street Mission, a charity with over 150 years of history, works tirelessly to support children and families living on low incomes in the region. Their Christmas appeal aims to provide these families with gifts, festive treats, and the joy every child deserves during the holiday season. This year, thanks to the generous contributions of local supporters, 3,013 children woke up to gifts on Christmas morning.

Team members donated gifts via the Give Today website or brought presents directly to our office for delivery to the Wood Street Mission. From toys to essentials, each contribution added to the collective effort of ensuring no child was left out of the festive spirit. A £250 donation from the business complemented these efforts, and precede what is planned to be an ongoing relationship with the mission, helping support Childhood Experience Days where young people will enjoy a memorable day out, organised by the Wood Street Mission team and volunteers.

Your generosity has not only brought joy to children but also helped ease the burdens of many families during a challenging time.
