Moisture Control Technology®
Moisture Control Technology® (MCT) has redefined the substrate industry. MCT® provides a homogeneous moisture content from the top to the bottom of the substrate, enabling establishment of more fine roots, less run-off and higher yield and crop quality across large areas. Growers often comment on the visual uniformity and health of crops grown in Cocogreen® MCT®; allowing them more time and money to focus on other areas of their farm management.
No Corner Left Untouched
Water is redistributed in-between irrigation cycles. From the bottom of the substrate all the way through to the top, provided a balanced growing substrate.
With MCT®, for every litre of substrate you use to grow your crop, the output is significantly improved versus any other type of substrate. This means that you can use less substrate per kg of produce. Typically, 20% less than a competitor product, with more reliable results. MCT® is available in all Cocogreen® Growbags, Pop Up™ and refill substrates.
Not All Coir Products Are The Same
The picture to the right shows a competitor product where Phytophthora has been able to take a hold and ruin the crop. Using a cheap, unprocessed and unrefined coir substrate leads to significant risk during the growth of your crop. Whether that be additional expense on water, fertiliser or increased risk of root diseases.
Our customers often report significant savings on these common inputs, especially when using Moisture Control Technology®. During our formal research and commercial feedback globally, it is accepted that MCT® vastly reduces the risk of Phytophthora when used in combination with our Safeguard™ technology.
